Works with Project Managers (PMs) in the acquisition and execution of project business. Leads, coaches, trains and supervises multiple; inside sales, project managers, and document control specialists to ensure the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, compliance, and closure of a project. Plans project management activities, including setting milestones and deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning projects and responsibilities to team members. Works with the Manager of Project Business to draft new and improve existing project management office policies and processes. Identifies potential risks and collaborates with other department leaders to prioritize project orders, eliminate roadblocks, expedite orders and minimize uncertainty. Directs assigned resources in WIKA’s PMO India. Oversees the development of sales proposals and project orders to ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks timely and efficiently while upholding the company's processes and policies. Monitors the input of sales quotations and orders into the ERP system. Communicates with the PI and EPC Field Sales teams to create effective business acquisition strategies. Analyzes engineering drawings, sketches, specifications, and related data to determine design factors such as size, shape, type of arrangement of parts and sub-assemblies.  Assists with the redlining of drawings for approval and coordinates with CAD Performs the Contract Review for technical and commercial content and requests the necessary internal approvals from management, legal, accounting, and finance before proposal submittal and order entry. Expedites quotes and/or orders through the group and provides/requests approvals as is required. Reviews product design(s) for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications to establish sales order requirements, and recommends changes when necessary Owns and manages the project documentation files including, worksheets and forms related to the project between departments such as CAD, Manufacturing, Documentation, Quality, and Planning Shares project specifications and provides sales order requirements to CAD technicians and other departments including, design, inspection, vendor data, and any other pertinent requirements Examines project records - product files, related documents, and correspondence, for accuracy Conducts performance management activities including performance evaluations, corrective action, discipline, termination, and individual development planning holds the team accountable to WIKA’s performance standards Develops Project Specific Inspection (PSI) plans Coordinates the communication between the PMO team and the customer(s) to relay document submittal, material deliveries, and inspection dates, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules of product Procures assistance from the necessary technical resources to provide answers to technical questions from clients, sales, and subsidiaries Signs or requests approval for the design documents, release forms, request forms, and change order forms Serves as the primary customer contact for the duration of the project Closes out sales quotations, and enters customer feedback into the ERP, follows up on outstanding quotes within the established time frame Performs ancillary duties as needed

Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Engineering, or Business required, coupled with 5+ years of project management experience. 10+ years project management experience in a manufacturing environment acceptable in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role required Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred Strong understanding of the EPC / Capital Projects market Technical & Customer Service background Knowledgeable of sales administration processes Strong leadership skills that can help bring together people and teams towards a common goal Detail & task-oriented to ensure accuracy Ability to perform under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision Exhibits a natural ability to organize and organize others to meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to take care of the customers’ needs and problem-solve challenges with creativity while following company procedures Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, CRM Software, DMS, and ERP Systems.
