Develops and maintains graphical and backend applications Tests and releases software prototypes Travels to customer locations for prototype installations, troubleshooting, and training. Creates and maintains technical documentation (requirements, specifications, tests, etc.) Works with customer’s manufacturing to streamline product usage. Complies with all company policies. Performs ancillary duties as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following engineering fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Software or Computer Science preferred.In lieu of an engineering degree, a minimum of 10 years’ experience in mobile equipment controls engineering required. Minimum of 3 years of experience developing technical software. Years can include school or hobby. Experience with Linux operating systems, embedded systems, Qt/C++, and bash. Experience with object oriented programming. Experience with test driven development. Familiar with Function Block Diagrams and Structured Text. Knowledge of technical mechanics and electronics. Ability to produce high quality solutions under truncated time tables and high pressure. Ability to work with service, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
