Provide sales and administration support to the operations manager and field sales team along with technical support both internally and externally where required. Producing service, spare parts and replacement product quotations in accordance with technical requirements prescribed either from field sales personnel or in direct liaison with customers, working within the guidelines set out in the WIKA charter. Providing innovative solutions to meet our customers' calibration product and service needs. Assist the QA department in the management and control of the WIKA loan and demonstration equipment where necessary. Proactively chase service items in respect of outstanding purchase orders, quotations and request updates. Provide product technical support for customers and end users. Prepare customer quotations and follow up. Work with the area sales manager, product sales specialists and customer service representative to retain all current business and win new business. Call customers to follow up enquiries to convert quotes and sales. Take ownership of the complete sales / service process from enquiry through to and including invoice. Ensure enquiry to quote turnaround time is according to area, division & company dashboard targets.
Previous experience in a technical sales discipline. A background in service sales, instrumentation or a similar technical engineering field is preferred. Ability to produce quotations and supporting documents as required using the company CRM system. Able to understand technical drawings & data sheets. Good competent knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes. Must have a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail. Confident speaking with customers over the phone to explore & qualify enquiries with a pro-active approach.
