This position involves overseeing and managing the planning, coordination with sales, procurement, and logistics, and control of manufacturing processes to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Production Planning & Cross Functional Collaboration:Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts, order requirements, and inventory levels.Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials.Coordinate with other departments (such as sales, procurement, and logistics) to align production plans with overall business objectives.Monitor the production schedule, raw material requirement plan, outsourcing plan to address any deviations or disruptions.Capacity Planning:Assess and plan for the capacity needed to meet production goals.Manage bottlenecks and ensure that production capacity is utilized efficiently.Plan for future capacity requirements based on projected sales and growth.Production Control:Monitor production progress against the schedule to ensure deadlines are met.Identify and address deviations from the plan, such as machine breakdowns, material shortages, or quality issues. Product Knowledge:Strong understanding of electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance.Familiarity with various types of temperature sensors (Thermocouples & RTDs) and their operating principles.Coordination and Communication:Act as a liaison between different departments (production, engineering, quality assurance, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.Communicate production status, challenges, and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze production data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve decision-making.Prepare reports on production performance, efficiency, capacity utilization, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).Crisis and Risk Management:Develop contingency plans to manage unexpected disruptions such as equipment failures, supply chain issues, or sudden changes in demand.Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth production flowAuthorities: To adjust production priorities to meet urgent customer requirements or manage delays, inventory management, access and analyze production data, present findings to senior management
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and process optimization within a manufacturing or production environment.Master’s in Operations Management or Industrial Engineering, is preferred Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive process optimization and efficiency gains.
