Manages all WEgrid hub activities and staff. Actively participates in business development activities, which may include the potential ownership of a book of business. Manages activities according to annual business plan, sets team goals, promotes business process optimization, and recruits & staffs talent in the respective disciplines. Drives business plan development for WEgrid business. Achieves the targeted goals for revenue, profitability across all product families in the WEgrid business portfolio. Works cross functionally with other business leaders in WIKA to execute strategies and initiatives. Collaborates with global WEgrid teams to establish process standardization, growth strategies, continuous improvement initiatives and ensures such strategies are aligned within the US and the Americas. Oversees and mentors the WEgrid team in the activities of WEgrid Sales, quotations, Project Management, etc. Identifies training needs and opportunities for employee development. Develops and maintains quality and customer satisfaction metrics for WEgrid Business. Performs other ancillary duties as requested.
Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering, or related discipline is required Experience working in instrumentation and selling to End Users and OEMs,and / or thru channel partners Experience in the Power Transmission and Distribution market (preferred) Experience in a Manager role (preferred) Ability and experience in building and presenting business cases Strategy experience (development, implementation and execution) Demonstrated ability to lead teams and exceed goals Highly organized and has effective time management skills and strong communication skills Able to work cross functionally and inter-culturally Proficient with Microsoft Office & CRM Strong listening and negotiation skills
