Utilizes calibration software for certificate generation and traceability requirements. Performs physical adjustments to calibrate mechanical instruments. Performs electronic adjustments to calibrate all types of electronic pressure transmitters (“Smart”, 4-20mA, etc.). Assembles any customer supplied instruments to diaphragm seal system. Prepares and plumb assembly to fill station, fill system, and close system after fill is complete. Performs spot welds to completed filled diaphragm sealed systems as needed. Uses necessary calibration fixtures to properly mount assembly to calibration equipment. Pulls and prepares capillary/armor sub-assemblies for welding. Inspects orders in progress for defects to ensure adherence to manufacturing processes and QMS procedures. Sets up, adjusts, and operates hand and power tools common to the DS1 assembly and packaging processes typical to the cell as needed. Communicates with Cell Manufacturing Lead and supervisor via email or in person to resolve issues.
High School Diploma preferred. 3-5 years’ experience with all OEM transmitter communication protocols. (Level 2 only) Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product issues independently (Level 2 only) 3-5 years’ manufacturing environment experience. Familiarity with all manufacturing processes within the cell. Ability to communicate in English required. Works well in a team or group dynamic.
