Booster Technician

Reads and interprets all documentation relating to the booster product line Analyzes and evaluates documentation before and after booster assembly Produce and close WOs (at times having to escalate to planning support) Assembles mechanical component assemblies for the booster system per work instructions, assembly drawings and torque requirements Assembles and forms stainless steel tubing for high pressure connections in the booster system, as needed Performs quality control duration and performance testing on the booster system and/or booster components Inspects and tests booster system and/or booster components for leaks Packs and boxes booster system and/or booster assemblies for shipment Provide technical support to engineering, quality, sales, applications engineering, and customer service departments Performs ancillary duties as needed

Associate degree in mechanical engineering or technical equivalent experience preferred 2 years minimum experience with mechanical assembly required 1 year electrical assembly experience preferred Basic understanding of mechanical / electrical and pneumatic principles Kaizen and Lean manufacturing experience preferred Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Quality orientated with attention to details Good organizational and communication skills Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; CAD experience preferred, PDF editor and AX Understanding of mechanical drafting principles (e.g. bilateral tolerances) Ability to use simple math and compute rate, ratio, percent and create and interpret bar graphs Familiar with electric motors, mechanical pumps, fans, electric and mechanical switches and high-pressure tubing.
