Create demand and increase sales of cloud data services and sensors at designated customers Drives sales efforts, prospecting new markets and applications Develops market position by locating, developing, defining and closing business with existing and new customers Serves as primary contact for WIKA sales channels with regards IIoT solutions and use cases. Collaborates to execute IIoT go-to-market strategies and initiatives. Provides counseling and price to ensure sales proposals are technically sound, commercially appealing, and competitive. Creates and conducts effective company, product, and proposal presentations regularly Maintains current client/customer relationships in USA Maintains relationships within industry and markets to expand business plans Partners with other areas of business to develop and execute business/sales/marketing plans Works with Marketing to manage trends and potential by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements Works collaboratively with Strategy and Marketing teams within WIKA globally to develop appropriate demand creation activities, launch new products and position strategies. Provides customer and market feedback (pricing, service, competitors, customer satisfaction, etc.) Participates in related National, Regional, and Local trade shows and conferences, as requested. Performs other ancillary duties as requested

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred), Business, or related discipline is required 5+ years sales, business development and/or product marketing experience in wireless technologies like Wireless HART, ISA 100, LoRaWAN, etc. (LoRaWAN preferred) Demonstrated understanding of an IoT system from sensor to platform Demonstrated experience of IoT platform integration with various business platforms Demonstrated experience of IoT integration with process automation systems Understanding of Software as a Service sales models Demonstrated experience with Process Industries Instrumentation and Controls preferred. Able to execute both strategic and tactical business plans, including annual quotas and market/account objectives Solution Selling: strong listening, communication and negotiation skills Highly organized and has effective time management skills Able to work cross functionally and inter-culturally Proficient with Microsoft Office & CRM Ability to travel up to 50%
