Developing WIKA’s business and building relationships with key personnel (new as well as existing) to increase WIKA’s market share; primarily within Industrial Pressure Transmitter (INT) accounts. A field-based customer-facing position that requires involvement and coverage throughout Southern Europe Promote and develop WIKA’s Industrial Pressure Transmitter (INT) and Ventilation/AC measuring instruments (A2G) business within the South Europe (SEU) Sub-region (mainly Italy, France, Spain & Portugal) Supports first level onsite technical and commercial to outdoor sales team. Customers visits side by side with Area Sales Managers, for providing technical expertise, is core for this job Manage our approach to the INT market, with a mix of direct sales and through the supporting and mentoring of the SEU sales team Work collaboratively with colleagues across SEU to develop INT and A2G sales to existing and new customers Maximise sales development time and communication with existing and potential customers. Working closely with internal company functions to provide the highest level of customer service to these accounts, building mutual respect partnerships with all relevant contacts Supporting/inspiring sales team to achieve the overall SEU INT and A2G target, conducting regular solo and joint sales visits (physical and virtual) to this end Have accountability for the overall SEU INT and A2G target Gaining and transmitting a deep familiarisation of our full INT and A2G portfolio particularly those aimed at our OEM focus markets Create/support sales and marketing initiatives for the primary INT and A2G focus markets/applications/products across SEU Support the investigation and resolution of issues and queries raised by our customers, taking full ownership in meeting, and exceeding our customers’ expectations Product training for WIKA staff and distribution partners for all INT products. This includes training on the job of Area Sales Managers on applications, technology, ways how to approach customers create interest and add value Be accountable for the launch of new, discontinuation of old and change notification of INT products Be the focal point for the factories Customer Support team to ensure that information etc. provided by the wider team for internal requests and technical enquiries meet their expectations Work with the Director OEM Business for Southern Europe on other projects and assignments where appropriate
Technical/ Scientific diploma and 4+ years of experience OR Technical / Scientific bachelor degree and 2+ years of experience Language Skills: English (written and oral) B2 level as a minimum. Having an aptitude for technical discussions and understanding of product features. Interested in frequent interactions with customers, business partners and colleagues. Open to frequent travel in Italy (1-2 days per week) and occasionally also to other countries in the sub-region (typically France and Spain). Knowledge of Automation / Industrial Instrumentation is a plus but it is not a mandatory requirement.
