The primary responsibility of the Production Order Planner is to accurately schedule orders to ensure On Time Delivery, print work orders (highlighting key data) delivering to appropriate area, keep track of delayed shipments to notify manager and sales, and understand our products while working with product engineers and other departments to ensure smooth processes. Know each products production path, cell workloads, each products throughput time/process. Learn and be fluent with ERP (D365). Generate open sales order lines report and ensure products are moving according to schedule. Communicate with other departments and Production Engineers to ensure information driving due dates is accurate and achievable. Work with the Production Inventory Planner to ensure parts availability. Communicate and help resolve any issues keeping orders from processing within given time. Be the backup for Production Inventory Planner. Assist Production Engineers to maintain job schedules. Perform other duties as requested by Director of Operations.
Must have High School diploma / GED or equivalent. Must be able to work as a TEAM PLAYER in a TEAM ATMOSPHERE. Must be PC computer literate, Excel knowledgeable, and able to interface with the company’s ERP system. Ability to learn Mensor/D365 and products/processes. Must be capable of setting own schedule with only occasional supervision. Must be able to effectively communicate issues to management, Production Technicians, and Engineers. Must have the foresight to anticipate problems, devise plans and execute them.
