Owns a sales quota/budget for an assigned account base Retains, develops and grows sales for assigned accounts based on business model, market segment, or specified product line and technology Identifies and uncovers market needs and trends in cooperation with Sales Managers through penetration, execution, and retention sales initiatives Interfaces directly with business partners/customers Leads sales meetings and travels to business partner/customer sites to support business objectives Collaborates with and leads cross-functional projects in support of sales objectives Works directly with Market Segment Specialists and Outside sales in prospecting of sales leads identified by Marketing services, Tradeshows, etc. Coordinates with Product Engineering to drive various sales opportunities forward Manages multiple projects simultaneously, as necessary, to increase operational efficiency Coordinates market and product based trainings with business partners/customers Enables full transparency to sales efforts via CRM by updating accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities in a timely and thorough manner Maintains up-to-date and adequate pipeline to meet goals Participates in National, Regional, and local trade shows Files monthly sales report, advance itinerary, and expense reports on a timely basis Utilizes WIKA sales process tools Initiates and participates in continuous improvement efforts related to sales Ability to support up to 20% overnight travel Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s in engineering or associate's degree with equivalent work experience required 3+ years industrial/technical experience in sales/marketing/engineering Previous experience with instrumentation or measurement technologies preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team Excellent group presentation skills Comfortable with customer-facing discussions and business communication Highly organized and has very effective time management skills Ability to work cross functionally with other members of the sales and marketing organization Strong negotiating skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM software
