Prepare works orders by picking, organizing, and assembling required parts and components. Cut, strip, and prepare cables for assembly and production. Collaborate with Stores to replenish line-side stock and notify Purchasing of shortages or additional requirements. Monitor and update inventory using the ERP system to maintain a consistent production workflow. Assist with Goods-in inspection, documentation, record-keeping, and ERP updates to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with good organisational and administrative skills. Able to multitask and support multiple teams when needed. A strong communicator and team player. Comfortable using computer systems (ERP experience is an advantage). Previous experience in a workshop, assembly, or production environment. Familiarity with cable preparation or basic electrical/mechanical assembly. Understanding of stock control or ERP systems. Knowledge of 5S, Lean, or continuous improvement environments.
