Prepares orders by processing customer requests; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in shipping area; pack and process transportation paperwork. Ensure all expedited orders and orders marked OTD are pulled and shipped. Pack, Label, Verify orders with special attention to customer specific SOP. Processes Grove pick tickets and provide a copy of packing slip to customer service. Maintains quality service by following organizational standards and SOP’s. Follows one piece flow when moving inventory record accuracy with all picks being verified by secondary person. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat and orderly through utilization of the 5s program. Maintains PIT by completing preventive maintenance requirements; and arranging for repairs. Completes deliveries by driving box truck. Completes web-based safety training as directed by corporate initiatives. Completes reports by entering required information. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Completes monthly Gemba walks for entire facility. Be able to operate forklift and cherry picker safely and effectively. Performs ancillary duties as needed.
