Lead the selection, management, and performance of the supplier relationship. Negotiation of NDA's, LTA's and T&C's with suppliers. Monitor supplier pricing, quality, and delivery performance, addressing any under performance. Develop and manage supplier scheduling to support customer demands. Manage scheduling and purchase order processes within ERP system. Prioritise and complete tasks in accordance with commitments to support business and customer expectations. Work in accordance with the Quality Management System and Employee Handbook. Complete ERP system tasks to ensure material traceability is maintained. Take responsibility for the leadership and prioritisation of the supply chain priorities. Lead the development of supply chain to support business road map.
Bachelor's degree engineering discipline or equivalent education. Strong creative and innovative problem-solving capability. Ability to build and foster professional relationships. Experience in managing supply chain activities in ERP software tools. Ability to write high quality communications an understand technical reports. Able to communicate effectively across all levels in a cross-disciplinary environment. Coaching and development of colleagues. Change Management experience for implementation of continuous improvement. Broad view on developing technologies and opportunities. Desirable experience: Strong technical and practical understanding of manufacturing processes, such as welding, brazing, bonding, polishing and etching, working with laser light sources. Ability to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities. Experience of working with and processing optical fibres. Technical understanding and experience of designing optical devices.
