Design, develop, test, and validate new products and product enhancements. Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using PTC Creo (or similar CAD platforms). Lead engineering activities related to prototypes, product testing, failure analysis, and design reviews. Support manufacturing through Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/A) initiatives and technical problem solving. Manage engineering projects, timelines, documentation, and change notices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain. Ensure products comply with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in continuous improvement, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline. 2+ years of design engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. 4+ years of experience with CAD software, preferably PTC Creo or SolidWorks. Experience with product testing, design validation, and engineering analysis. Knowledge of ISO quality systems, FMEA, DFM/A, and project management principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
