Responsible for increasing brand awareness and sales penetration into existing target market segments, as well as developing new market segments by promoting specific IIoT solutions leveraging the entire WIKA IIoT portfolio including the Sensile, Phase IV and Asystom WIKA brands. The key metric for this position in year one is revenue development, followed by ongoing profitable growth. Develops the go-to-market business plan for IIoT in the USA in partnership with Sales Leadership and CoE (business unit) Team  Fosters strong, collaborative relationships with the CoE for IIoT, acting as a business partner with the Solutions Manager. Collaborates with global product and market segment teams to establish market strategies and ensures such strategies are aligned within the USA.  Manages activities across the larger Sales organization according to annual business plans, advises on team goal setting, and promotes business development activities for the target markets and solutions. Achieves targeted goals for demand creation, sales revenues and other strategic objectives. Gathers voice of the customer and competitive market intelligence for new products/markets/applications and to improve competitive positioning in existing markets. Manages, recruits and develops business development talent in the respective product or market segment category. The expectation is that with revenue development, this role would expand into a direct leadership position. Performs ancillary duties as needed.

Bachelor of Science in a technical field required, Engineering preferred; technical curiosity is a must Experience selling complex measurement solutions, e.g. IIoT, Control Systems, Software 10+ years sales experience working with both direct sales and channels including Sales Reps, Systems Integrators, OEM, Distribution in the instrumentation / measurement market Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new markets Multi-market background including O&G, Chem, Food, Pharms, Agriculture a plus Must be highly organized and have very effective time management skills Ability to lead others through influence vs. direct authority, previous direct leadership experience a plus Ability to work as part of the Sales Leadership team to motivate, provide direction, measure results and hold the team accountable for results Strong negotiation skills required Strong written and verbal communication as well as listening skills.  Must be able to present ideas and simplify complex topics effectively Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
