Making customer contact by telephone and email, to support Service sales generation and Service order logistics. Sales lead generation by cold calling customers, generating visits and co-ordinating with the External sales teams. Prospecting, qualifying and generating new leads for Service products. Conducting customer follow-up communications, to move opportunities through the sales funnel. Managing new enquiries and delivering quotations to customers. Responsible for updating and supporting data integrity for the CRM system, ensuring that the data held is relevant. Using our internal database to identify Calibration and Service interval requirements and making customer contact to organise the product service requirements. Supporting service quotations and customer follow up. Manage data for new and prospective clients within the CRM system, ensuring all communications are logged, that the information is accurate and documents are attached. Service sales order processing and scheduling management. Escalation of customer queries to the Internal Sales Manager where appropriate. To assist in other tasks that may be required from time to time as requested by management team.

Be proactive and a team player. Must have a Sales background in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in AXAPTA or ERP systems is an advantage, but not essential. Communicates effectively, both written and verbally. Must be confident making external telephone calls, as this be the preferred method of communication with all customers as opposed to email. Must demonstrate strong work ethic and request assistance as needed. Organisation skills and time management – the ability to effectively prioritise, multi-task and manage own workload. Must possess a flexible attitude, with a willingness to put in extra time and effort to satisfy the customer and meet company requirements. Must have excellent IT skills, specifically on Microsoft Windows packages, such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must have good customer orientation skills and have the ability to build effective working relationships with internal customers, external customers and suppliers.
